Ok, so I've spent 10 yrs in the Navy gaining real-world leadership experience, got my MBA, ran a marathon, moved to Silicon Valley, did a couple of years in corporate America working for AT&T,
Meanwhile, I've read
Rich Dad, Poor Dad & tons of other "how to" books, including bios of successful entrepreneurs, talked to gurus, gone to seminars, got my real estate license, even founded a non-profit & LLC -
http://project-tango.org/While I've had some successes investing in real estate, still here I am ..trying to figure out my next big thing!
I know that my life's calling (
Callings, Gregg Michael Levoy) is not to simply find another job. But like everyone else the reality is that bills need to be paid!
Some of my current ideas include:
1) a business combining Fedex / Kinko's services with Starbucks amenities - we're seeing more & more self-employed & entrepreneurs; companies like Costco are already catering to their needs so this real estate play fills a niche that's currently empty
2) another is the Entrepreneur channel - maybe an unlikely alliance between Entrepreneur & Inc. magazines and educator like Robert Kiyosaki? mission: to provide programming dedicated to inspire people in making their dreams realities - to educate kids & prepare them for our "New Economy," where lifetime jobs are no longer the rule & government is not the answer to retirement
3) "personal reader service" - sort of like what the President, CEO's & the like typically have - except here it's a combo of outsourcing & online subscriptions - possibly built on an alliance between KeepMedia, Blue Dolphin (great service), Amazon, eBay or Netflix (using their grass roots / community feel) to allow folks to share ratings & comments, leveraging off each other's experience; meanwhile, intermediaries or
consultants can suggest articles they feel are relevant to a suscriber; they, too, are rated for their helpfulness..
Similarly, I'm planning to start up a local business book club here in the Bay Area..

One of the main dilemmas that I imagine actors & celebrities face is how to balance between speaking from the heart & avoiding things that'll make you cringe at seeing yourself years from now! Any advice in this area would certainly be appreciated..
I guess at this point I'm just putting it out there to the universe that I'm just not willing to give up! So, I'm sending some positive, higher vibrations out there & seeing how it's manifested in the universe! (Dr. Wayne Dyer,
There's a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem)
